Yeah, yeah, I know I haven't posted here in ages. Bad Laura. ^^; I suppose I could do a general update of where I am and what I am doing, and since I have time to kill at work because I don't want to do work and have 45 minutes before I can run far far away for the weekend, here we go!

I am still living in the DC-Metro area, and we're renewing our lease for another year. Andrew is moving into an apt with some more of our friends, and yes he is still putting up with me. :P I work as a contractor at the Library of Congress doing work on the various parts of the website, and my contract got extended through at least June. Yay for current employment. I've learned a lot about css and div layers, ad evidenced by the new MM layout. I've bought a graphic tablet and can now draw on the computer, though I mostly just color. Nothing can beat drawing on paper with pencil. ^^; Erm...ah yes, I don't think I mentioned this on this blog, but Angie of course knows about this. I had a little excursion to the hospital the day after my birthday back in November which resulted in having my appendix taken out. Now I have a nice little 2 inch or so long scar on my tummy, and Andrew thinks it's amusing to draw two eyes above it to make it look like a face. Haha. ^^; I'm working on staff for Onna!, the convention put together by the staff of Shoujocon and Yuricon. [In October, Newark Gateway Hilton, prereg is open right now. :)] What else? I play Kingdom of Loathing way too much, and I am now a level 14 Accordian Thief. Woohoo! I also play D&D now with Andrew and three of our friends. I named my character Adhara, and then let Deanne, our DM, use my star book to pick out names for NPCs. We now have a Mirzam and an Aludra...Yay for keeping it in the same constellation. ;) Andrew will be graduating in a month and I'm going to his graduation whether he likes it or not. *evil grin* Well, he did come to mine, after all. ^^

That's about it. I love my Power Mac G4, too. Pyoko is awesome, and Hinata my iPod shuffle is a shiny I finally allowed myself last weekend when I was sure I would still have a job for a while. ^^ Yes, I name my computer stuff. No, I didn't name my graphic tablet.

And now I have 30 minutes left at work. Heh... #

i find it on occasion when i am bored at work and have NOTHING to do but read blogs and newspapers all day. like the last two weeks. heh. if you want to take it down, i understand. i repurposed the old MM RPG blog not too long ago...though its new purpose has to start being exploited or i'll kick people. meh. *grumbles at her friends who won't post for their dnd campaign* :P

Well, I stopped posting on it when we stopped RPing... And our revival apparently didn't pan out either... from what I can tell. Of course, I'm still up for it if anyone else is truly going to give it a go.

well, it's hard to get in contact with everyone. i don't think that some people are answering emails anymore from the group, or maybe they just aren't online as much as they used to be. i wanna start up the group again, and i think angie's willing, too. plus we have a new member that just signed up that's eager to start a game even after it was explained to her that the group had stalled a while ago. bleh.
